Karen understood it all, but she couldn't control her feelings of self-blame and the hostility of those around her. Karen would always start nervously twirling her chestnut hair and quietly whimpering. And that's exactly what happened now.. Our setting is: Karen had just stolen a dozen keychains from a store and didn't know what to do next. The store owner was a very pleasant woman, and Karen felt too ashamed to even inform her about the theft, let alone face accusations..
